Green Lawn Abbey has 59 stained glass windows from the Rossbach Art Glass Studio, an early Columbus craftsman.  While all the windows are in need of restoration after 85 years of inattention and vandalism, some have reached the point they are ready to collapse.  Once this happens it becomes more expensive to restore the windows as shattered pieces  must be re-created.   Chosen for restoration this year are three stained glass windows in the 2nd floor foyer.  One is the transom window over the bronze entry doors and the other two are a pair of long windows opposite this door.  These latter windows have been boarded up for several years, blocking much needed light.

We cannot restore these works of art without your support.  To help us qualify for a GCAC match, make your donation online at http://Power2Give.org.  Select Ohio and Franklin County and check mark Conservation/Preservation and hit Update Results at the bottom of the page.  Next select the windows project at Green Lawn Abbey, then enter the amount of your donation.    If you prefer to donate by check, make it payable to GREEN LAWN ABBEY and send it to GLAPA,  % 300 W. Spring St., Suite #904, Columbus, OH  43215.  Donations made by checks will still qualify for the match.
