Green Lawn Abbey – A Traditional Space That’s Anything but Ordinary.

We’re opening the doors of this stunning piece of neoclassical architecture to artists and dreamers — those drawn to incredible architecture and history.

Join us for a few hours of drawing and engaging conversation as we transform this final resting place into an environment that inspires your creative spirit.  Art instructor Mary Jane Ward with the Cultural Arts Center will be there to facilitate.

Register for $30 or for $50 we’ll supply everything you need (drawing pad, charcoal set, sharpener, eraser, drawing pencils and graphic pen)

Green Lawn Abbey was listed on the National Register of historic Places in June 2007 in recognition of her outstanding architectural significance.  Once the finest final resting place in Columbus, Ohio, the building is currently undergoing restoration.  We invite you to experience this beautiful space and embrace the positive spirit of the many artists, entrepreneurs and community leaders entombed here.
