Illness of Four Months Fatal to Ashtabula Native

Frank W. Dickinson, 67, of 79 E. Deshler Ave., former owner of the Dickinson Hardware and Furniture Co., 952 Parsons Ave., died today in Mt. Carmel Hospital, following an illness of four months.

Born in Ashtabula, Mr. Dickson came to Columbus 35 years ago. He retired from the hardware and furniture business about four years ago. A member of Blue Lodge of the Masons, he was also a charter member of the Southgate Masons. He built the latter’s temple, located at the corner of Parsons and Reinhard avenues.
Besides his wife, Ellen E. , he leaves one son, Hal D., of Highland Park, Ill; one brother, P. H. Dickinson, Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Shepard, Cleveland, and Mrs. C. W. Peck, Unionville, O., and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the A. J. Held Chapel, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
