Dr. Clyde H. Hebble, 351 S. Columbia Av, professor emeritus of dentistry at Ohio State University, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Thursday in a local nursing home. He was a graduate of Starling Ohio Medical College and had served 43 years on the faculty of the college of dentistry at Ohio State. He maintained offices at 327 E. State St.

Dr. Hebble was a past president of the Columbus Dental Society and of the Ohio State Dental Association and had been elected to Omicrom Kappa Upsilon, dental honorary fraternity. A member of the American Dental Association, he became a fellow of he American College of Dentists and the Academy Internationale of Dentistry. He was a past president of the Columbus Rotary Club and also was affiliated with the Franklin Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution and the Columbus Country Club. He was a charter member of the University Club, was a member of the University Lodge of Masons, the Scottish Rite and Aladdin Temple of Shrine. He was a member of Broad St. Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, May E; and several nieces and nephews including Dr. Robert Hinkle. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Schoedinger funeral home, 229 E. State St., where friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Friday. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Abbey.
