Associated for 42 years with the Ohio National bank as a teller, John W. Kaiser, age 73, of 306 South Cassady avenue, died in Grant hospital Thursday morning following an illness which began in December.

Mr. Kaiser was a native of Columbus and spent his entire life here. He first became associated with the bank when it was located at Main and High streets, then was connected with the bank at Town and High streets, and later was transferred to Gay and High, retiring a year ago.

He was a member of the Twenty-five Year club of the Wolfe Industries, Bexley lodge of Masons, a charter member of the Moose lodge, and a member of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church.

His wife, Mrs. Clara K. Kaiser, and two brothers, R. C. of New Rochelle, N.Y., and A. M. Kaiser of Altadena, Calif., survive him.

Rev. A. E. Klick, pastor of St. John’s church will officiate at funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Schoedinger chapel. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Abbey.
