RICHTER SERVICES TO BE CONDUCTED SATURDAY
Mrs. Carrie Richter, aged 70, wife of Charles Richter, and mother of Homer R. Richter, assistant superintendent of the bureau of identification, Columbus police department, died at her home, 526 Wilson avenue, Thursday, after an illness of four weeks. Her death was a result of heart disease.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday, 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Robert E. Golladay of Grace Lutheran church officiating. The body will be placed in Greenlawn abbey, Green Lawn cemetery, by the Schoedinger Co.
Mrs. Richter, who was born at Enterprise, near Lancaster, had resided in Columbus 65 years. In addition to her husband, who had for 42 years conducted a grocery at 129 South Front street and for the last seven years has been a guard at the Ohio penitentiary, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Grumley; two granddaughters, Helen Louise and Jean Christine Richter of 35 South Westmoor avenue, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Litter of Helena, Mont.
