--Mrs. Rhoda Jane Sells Dies at Neil Avenue Home After Long Illness.--
Mrs. Rhoda Jane Sells, 1223 Neil avenue, died at her home at 8:35 p.m. Saturday, following a prolonged illness. She was the widow of the late Lewis Sells, co-owner and manager of the Sells Brothers-Adam Forepaugh circus.
Mrs. Sells, who was born January 27, 1862, at Springfield, Ohio, has lived here for the past 46 years, coming to Columbus at the time of her marriage to Mr. Sells. She has resided at the Neil avenue address for the last 32 years.
A daughter, Mrs. Mary Sells Hall of 1223 Neil avenue, and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie B. Allen of Washington and Mrs. Frank Klingaman of Topeka, Kans., were with Mrs. Sells when she died. She is survived also by two grandchildren, Marjorie Jane and Lewis Sells Bower, both at home. A nephew is Harrold C. Eckert, drama critic of the Ohio State Journal.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the residence, with burial in Green Lawn abbey. Rev. Frank H. Throop, pastor of Central Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Sells was a member, will officiate. Burial arrangements are in charge of the Schoedinger Co.
Mrs. Sells was a charter member of the Columbus chapter of the Daughter of the American Revolution.
